Robotics startup Rendezvous unveils modular tiles for space assembly
Rendezvous Robotics has emerged from stealth with $3M in pre-seed funding to develop "tesserae," modular, magnetically docking tiles for autonomous in-orbit assembly and reconfiguration of large space structures, TechCrunch reports. Serve Robotics adds ultra-low latency teleoperation tech
Serve Robotics has acquired assets of Phantom Auto and Voysys for $5.75M, enhancing its sidewalk delivery robots with Voysys’s ultra-low latency video streaming and teleoperation solutions, according to a press release from the company. The integration improves fleet operation reliability and reduces infrastructure costs. Voysys will remain a standalone provider for global clients, while Serve leverages the tech to accelerate AI-based autonomy and strengthen leadership in autonomous delivery.
RoboSense mass-produces next-gen digital LiDAR platform
RoboSense has begun mass production and scaled delivery of its EM digital LiDAR platform, including EMX and EM4 models, signalling a breakthrough in high-performance LiDAR for intelligent vehicles, the company said in a press release. The EMX targets L2 ADAS, while EM4 offers customizable beams for higher autonomy. Winning contracts from 45 models globally, RoboSense cements its leadership in digital LiDAR technology for autonomous driving.
